About Me:

Originally from the East Coast, I grew up primarily along the West Coast in California and Oregon. I eventually settled in Lincoln City where I graduated from Taft High School, two years early, as part of the class of 2000. I later studied at Portland Community College, Oregon Coast Community College, Portland State University, and Oregon State University earning my certification in Early Childhood Education, a B.S. in Psychology and another B.S. in Human Development and Family Studies. Currently I am working on my Masters in Educational Leadership and Administrative Certificate from University of Oregon.

I reside near Devils Lake with my husband, SRO Senior Officer Logan Smith, and my son, Degen. We have four pets; Chewbacca and Rasputin are my cats, Rowan and Nibbler are my dogs . Our family is always changing as we are foster parents and share custody of my niece. In our time-off we travel the world, play board games, nerd out at San Diego Comic Con, volunteer in our community, and work on remodeling our home.
In my spare time you will find me wondering though art museums, volunteering at Camp Starlight,
laughing loudly, pretending to be a statue, changing my hair color,  attending Broadway shows, or curled
up with a book under a pile of pets.
